GREG Mystery CAL Part 7 – Bob – Part 3

Hi folks 🙂

How did you go making Bob square?  I hope it was easy for you.

Part 7 – Bob – Part 3

This time around, we’ll be adding 4 more rows to our Bobs.

Bob Part 3 by Shelley Husband

If your younger brothers have all been 5″ (almost 13 cm), then this part of Bob should be about 12″ (30 cm) along each side.  It’s best to give it a quick finger block (stretch it straight with your fingers) before measuring.

Hints and Tips for Bob Part 3

There really is nothing hard in Part 3 of Bob, just a couple of things to note that might make it easier.

Expect some ruffling at the end of Round 15.  It will flatten out after Round 16.

For most of Round 16, you will be working between the stitches rather than into them.

The last round we’re doing is that pesky “lbv” stuff.  It should be much easier though than in the round, as all the stitches are the same.  You can do it!

Need help?  Then pop over to my Ravelry Group and I’ll help you out.

Well that’s it for the third part of BOB.  I’ll see you next week with the last part of BOB. Have fun!

xx Shelley

    Hi Shelley
Just wanted to check that I’m going ok.
I’ve done the 16v stitches missing a stitch between but when I got to the 2 stitch corner loop I found I didn’t have a stitch to skip. It’s not bumpy and I had the correct number of stitches on the previous row…. I’ll carry on.
Not sure how I’ve managed this but then with me nothing is a huge surprise lol

Ignore me. I’ve found it… It’s the stitch tight against the 2 chain loop. I’d missed it so in fact I’ve missed 2 stitches right in that corner..
